To me, the universe represents a mother who is watching over and caring for all of the creations within her. This is where I drew inspiration for this sculpture. Each color on the women represents a different chakra and the astrology associated with it to allude to the natural harmony of the universe. Chakras represent energy centers in our bodies that, when aligned, are believed to create stability and peace within ourselves that contributes to the overall well-being of the universe. I use this piece as a reminder to try and remain balanced so I can be my best self and contribute positive energy to Mother Cosmos and all her creations.
